FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Men's Basketball has signed Caleb Fields to join the Stags beginning this fall, as announced Tuesday by Head Coach
Jay Young. A transfer from Bowling Green State University, Fields has two seasons of eligibility remaining, including the upcoming 2022-23 campaign.

"We're excited to add Caleb Fields to our program. He's an athletic point guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor," said Young. "Caleb's experience playing in a very competitive league for three years will serve him well in the MAAC. He comes from a tremendous family and will be a welcomed addition to our roster."

Fields, who did not suit up for the Falcons this past season, played and started 25 games at the point in the 2020-21 campaign. The 6-2 guard averaged 6.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in that season.

Fields hails from Cape May Court House, N.J. and played scholastically at Wildwood Catholic, where he was named the Cape-Atlantic League Player of the Year, Non Public B South Jersey Player of the Year and Third Team All-State as a senior in 2018.
