FAIRFIELD, Conn., - The top two teams in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) will face off against each other as the Fairfield University Women's Basketball will welcome the Quinnipiac Bobcats to Webster Bank Arena on Thursday night at 7pm. The Stags are riding a seven-game winning streak while the Bobcats have won seven of their last eight outings.
The Stags avenged their only loss in the conference in their last game as they defeated Siena 64-58 on Saturday.
Lou Lopez-Senechal led a trio of Stags in double figures with 21 points.
Rachel Hakes directed an offense that shot 43 percent in the game as she tied her season-high with 11 assists. She also dished out the 350th helper of her career and now ranks 13th all-time in program history with 358.
Fairfield led by as many as 15 points in the fourth quarter before Siena closed the game on a 13-5 run.
Fairfield boosted their conference record to 14-1 and is one win shy of tying the best MAAC record in Stags' history. The 1990-91 squad went 15-1 to finish the season. The 14 conference victories ranks second in the nation behind IUPUI with 15.
The Stags will be looking for their first regular season sweep against Quinnipiac since the 2013-14 season, the Bobcats' first season in the MAAC. Fairfield was victorious in Hamden in their first meeting, their first road win in the series in eight years.

Fairfield will have a week off before their next matchup when they welcome Monmouth to Webster Bank Arena on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7pm.
