FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fresh off a huge road win at Fordham, the Fairfield University Women's Basketball team will continue their three-game road trip when they travel to Vestal, N.Y., for their first-ever meeting with the Binghamton Bearcats on Saturday at 2pm. This will be one of four times this season that Fairfield will play an opponent for the first time in their history.
 
The Stags are coming off their best offensive game of the season by netting 82 points in an 82-75 overtime win at Fordham. Fairfield also tallied season-highs with 47 rebounds and 32 field goals made.
 
Fairfield was led by 30 points from Callie Cavanaugh, including the game-tying jumper with 17 seconds in regulation. In just six games, Cavanaugh now has a pair of 30-point performances, one of just 12 players in the nation to have more than one 30-point game.
 
Janelle Brown was the Stags' catalyst on both sides of the ball by tallying her first career double-double with 18 points and a personal-best 15 rebounds. The 15 boards bested her previous career best by nine. At 5-6 she is the smallest player in the country to grab at least 15 rebounds in a game this season.
 
Izabella Nicoletti-Leite also had a productive offensive game with a career-best 20 points on a 3-for-6 showing from long range. Nicoletti-Leite has now hit a 3-pointer in all six games this season and leads the team with 10 made 3-pointers.
 
Binghamton brings a 4-4 record into the contest after dropping three-straight. Denai Bowman is the lone student-athlete to average double figures as she drops in 11.8 points per contest.
 
Fairfield will close out their road trip with a flight to Dayton, Ohio to face the Flyers on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7pm.
