FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will open a three-game road trip when they travel to Lawrenceville, N.J., for a Saturday afternoon matchup with the Rider Broncs with a 1pm kickoff. The Stags enter play with a 4-1 record in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), which puts them second in the standings at the season's midway point.
 
Fairfield is coming off their best offensive display of the year as they tallied a season-high four goals in a 4-1 victory over Manhattan. Maddie Mills, Maddy Theriault, Meghan Carragher, and Caroline Kelly all touched net for the Stags while Elle Scott recorded two assists for the second-straight game.
 
With her goal and assist against the Jaspers, freshman Maddy Theriault now leads the team and places second in the MAAC with her five goals and is also tied for the team lead with 13 points. Elle Scott has also racked up 13 points with four goals and five assists, with four helpers coming in her last two matches.
 
Maddie Mills has also reached double figures in points in just nine matches played and has recorded a point in four of her last five outings.
 
Rider enters play with a 5-4-2 overall record and a 2-2 mark in the MAAC. The Broncs have shutout Saint Peter's and Manhattan this season and goalkeeper Ellie Sciancalepore holds an 1.27 goals against average and an .807 save percentage. Makenzie Rodrigues is tied with Lindsey Maslow for the team lead with four goals.
 
The team will stay in the state of New Jersey when they head to Saint Peter's on Wednesday afternoon with a 3pm kickoff against the Peacocks.
