LOWELL, Mass. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will conclude their three match road swing with another contest in the state of Massachusetts as they take on UMass Lowell on Monday night at 6pm.
The Stags' defense is coming off an impressive performance in a 1-0 setback at Harvard. Fairfield's defense kept the Crimson off the scoreboard in the second half despite facing 15 shots.
Aytana Muschajew played the final 45 minutes of the contest and saved all three shots on target.
Fairfield also faced 24 shots and 10 corner kicks by the high tempo Harvard offense.
The Stags managed six shots with three on goal in the match.
Elle Scott led the Stags with two attempts on target. All six of her shots have been on target this season.
UMass Lowell brings a 1-1-1 record into the contest. The River Hawks started the year with a win over Holy Cross and a draw to Boston University. Ioanna Papatheodorou has scored two of UMass Lowell's three goals.
Fairfield will return home to face Holy Cross on Thursday night with kickoff at 6pm.
