WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Meaghan Graham scored her fifth goal of the day with just 37 seconds remaining, breaking a 9-9 tie and sending Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse to a 10-9 victory at Monmouth on Wednesday afternoon. The triumph locks up sole possession of the MAAC Regular Season Championship – the Stags' third straight regular season crown – and top seed in the upcoming MAAC Championship.
Fairfield improves to 10-1 overall with their fourth straight win and completes a 5-0 sweep of its MAAC road schedule. As top seed in the MAAC Championship, the Stags will play at Rafferty Stadium for the duration of their stay in the conference tournament.
The third consecutive MAAC Regular Season Championship is also the third for
Laura Field as head coach. Including her time as an assistant to her predecessor –
Mike Waldvogel – Field has been on the sidelines for eight regular season titles in 13 seasons with the Stags.

Arianna Lavelle also posted multiple points with a goal and the Stags' lone assist.
Kelly Horning's 27th goal of the season was the game-tying marker with 3:06 to play. Following that tally,
Olivia Conquest's 10th and most pivotal save of the days put the stags back on the offensive to setup Graham's game-winner.
Ellie Grefenstette added a goal to round out the attack on the day.
Conquest scooped up two ground balls to go along with her 10 saves, improving to an unbeaten 10-0 in the cage this spring.
Keyla Bay posted two ground balls and a caused turnover on the defensive end, and
Lindsey Barnes hauled in a team-best five draw controls to go along with her defensive work.
Monmouth (7-4) was led by a hat trick from Allison Turturro, and two-goal outings for both Sarah Gillogly and Chloe Novak. Stephanie Delliturri made four saves in the Hawks' cage.
Fairfield will begin the 2021 MAAC Championship with a quarterfinal matchup at Rafferty Stadium on Saturday, May 1. More information will be announced as it is finalized by the conference office.
