Emily Schillinger had a hand in 11 rejections, tying the mark for the most in a match in NCAA Division I this season.
KJ Johnson added eight blocks as she neared a triple-double with 16 kills and 11 digs.
Â
Johnson has ranked among the NCAA leaders in kills throughout the 2021 campaign. She slots seventh in the nation and leads the MAAC in kills per set (4.80). In addition, no player in the country with as many attempts as Johnson (588), has as high a hitting percentage as her .323 mark.
Â
Siena completes a four-match homestand on Wednesday, looking to salvage a victory during the residency after dropping three straight. Most recently, the Saints were on the short side of a 3-2 result against Canisius, dropping a 2-1 lead to the visiting Golden Griffins. Siena is 3-17 overall and 3-6 in the MAAC this season, with wins over Iona, Manhattan and Saint Peter's.
Â
After capping their three-match road stretch on Wednesday in Loudonville, the Stags will play six of their next seven in the Nutmeg State, beginning with an Oct. 16-17 series at the RecPlex against Manhattan and Iona.
