WASHINGTON, D.C. – Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse senior Dylan Beckwith has been named to the final Tewaaraton Award Watch List, as announced on Tuesday by the Tewaaraton Foundation. The award – which is college lacrosse's national men's and women's player of the year recognition – will not be presented this May due to the cancellation of the majority of the 2020 season.
 
Beckwith was in the midst of an historic season for the Stags in 2020. The senior attackman racked up 42 points through seven games comprised of 17 assists and a team-high 25 goals. He ranked tied for fourth place in the nation with a CAA-leading 6.00 points per game. Beckwith was also slotted 18th in the nation and first in the conference with 3.57 goals per game and sat 15th nationally and third in the CAA with 2.86 assists per game.
 
For his career, Beckwith concluded the shortened 2020 season ranked fourth all-time at Fairfield in points (162), points per game (3.24) and assists (82) while slotted third in assists per game (1.64), 11th in goals (80) and 10th in goals per game (1.60).
 
The Stags finished the 2020 season with a 5-2 record, including a 4-0 mark on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium.
