PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Fairfield men's tennis dropped their match against Brown by a score of 1-6 as
Griffin Schlesinger tallied his second Singles win of the weekend.
The Stags were not able to pick up a win in Doubles competition giving the Bears a 1-0 advantage going into Singles play.
Griffin Schlesinger defeated William Bader (6-1, 6-2) at #6 Singles giving Fairfield their only point on the day.
"Playing Ivy League teams is always a tall task, but we played some solid tennis" said Head Coach
Jeff Bricker. "Griffin had a great weekend going 2-0. We have a lot to work on this week, but good things are ahead for the team."
The Stags will return to action on February 8 as they take on UConn at 3:30 P.M.
