FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The men's basketball game between Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University scheduled for Sunday, November 29 has been canceled.
The decision stems from a positive Covid-19 test from a member of the Sacred Heart University men's basketball program. Out of an abundance of caution, both teams mutually decided to cancel the game.
The Fairfield University men's basketball team will play its next scheduled game on December 2 when it hosts the University of Hartford at Alumni Hall. The game represents the Stags' home opener for the 2020-21 season.
