Parking & Tailgate Information
Parking for fans is available on a first come, first served basis. Fans may be directed by Public Safety personnel to designated parking areas. Fans are asked to observe all parking signs as they relate to handicapped, reserved or restricted parking.

Please note that the Walsh Athletic Center/Rafferty Stadium parking lot is closed to the general public during men's and women's lacrosse home games. Tailgating is limited to the Loyola gravel lot (Fairfield) and the Dolan East lot on Mooney Road (Villanova). Tailgating activities are prohibited in all other academic and residential parking lots and in the Kelley Center parking garage.
Consistent with the Athletic Department Policy, alcohol is NOT permitted inside Rafferty Stadium. The athletic department
strongly discourages the consumption of alcohol at tailgate events while in the presence of student athletes, both pregame and postgame and regardless of age. In accordance with Connecticut State Law, there shall be
NO UNDERAGE DRINKING. Tailgate lots will be monitored by security and policies will be enforced.
Handicapped parking is available in all lots for those with proper permits on a first come, first served basis. Those in need of additional assistance are encouraged to contact Fairfield Athletics at 203-254-4000 ext. 2208 to ensure that proper accommodations are met.
The follow items are not permitted inside Rafferty Stadium:
• Alcohol of any kind
• Outside food and drink
• Glass bottles, cans, frozen drinks, coolers, thermoses or ice chests
• Seat cushions measuring larger than 18" and contain zippers, pockets or concealable areas
• Any animal with the exception of a service animal (must provide certification upon request)
• Weapons (including knives), any item that may be used as a projectile or one that is deemed dangerous by Stadium management
• Any other item deemed inappropriate by Stadium management
Last Time Out
Eleven players contributed at least one point as the Stags rolled past host NJIT, 18-5, on Tuesday in Newark.
Dylan Beckwith led the attack with seven points and the Fairfield defense turned in its best performance of the season.
Jack Brennan's hat trick was the fourth of his career and came as a part of a five-point evening.
Taylor Strough also netted three goals to keep pace with Beckwith as the team's co-leaders with 19 markers apiece this spring.
Doing his part to keep the Stags on the attack was
Frankie Labetti with an 11-of-15 showing and 10 ground balls.
Liam Lynch came on in relief and posted a 7-of-8 day with seven ground balls.
In the cage,
James Corasaniti made 10 saves.
Brian Cosgrove led the defense with three caused turnovers and four ground balls.
Scouting Villanova
Most recently on the short side of a 17-7 decision at #6 Maryland, Villanova comes to Rafferty Stadium sporting a record of 3-4. The Wildcats have also lost to fellow Keystone State squads Penn and Drexel. Villanova's wins consist over overtime triumphs over then-#1 Yale and Hofstra as well as a 17-9 rout of Delaware.
Connor Kirst leads the Villanova attack with 21 goals (15g, 6a) and Matt Campbell is the Wildcats' top goal scorer with 17 markers to go along with three assists. Keegan Khan is the third Wildcat with double-digit points this spring with six goals and a team-leading 11 helpers. That trio has accounted for 38 of the team's 73 goals (52.1%) through seven games this season.
Villanova is winning faceoffs at a .519 clip, led by a .559 mark (66-of-118) and 22 ground balls for Dan Fisher. Zack Ornstein has come on in relief at the dot en route to a .468 win percentage at 29-of-62 with 18 ground balls.
Action in the cage has been split by Nick Testa and Will Vitton. Vitton has been the starter for the last four contests and has made five total appearances in goal, owning a .407 save percentage and a 12.45 goals-against average with 48 goals allowed and 33 saves. Testa began the year as the Wildcats' starter, posting a .417 save percentage and 13.17 goals-against average after ceding 42 goals with 30 saves.

Saturday's contest marks the start of a three-game homestand for the Stags. Fairfield will kick off the 2019 CAA slate next Saturday, March 30 with a visit from Delaware. The Blue Hens are 6-2 entering their road game at Michigan this weekend.
The Stags' Rafferty Stadium residency concludes the following Saturday, April 6 against #7 Towson.
