Stags Open 2019 Season This Saturday at Rafferty Stadium

Fairfield and Saint Joseph's faceoff at 1 p.m.

The 27th varsity season of Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse begins this Saturday, Feb. 16 on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium when the Stags host Saint Joseph's at 1 p.m.

Tickets for Saturday's game are on sale now at FairfieldStags.com/TIX. Admission is free for current Fairfield students, faculty and staff for all regular season home games in all sports (with a StagCard).
 
Red Out Rafferty
All fans are encouraged to wear red to support the Stags.
 
Schedule Poster and Magnet Giveaway
The first 300 fans in attendance will receive a Fairfield Men's Lacrosse 2019 schedule poster and magnet.
 
Parking & Tailgate Information
Parking for fans is available on a first come, first served basis. Fans may be directed by Public Safety personnel to designated parking areas. Fans are asked to observe all parking signs as they relate to handicapped, reserved or restricted parking.

Please note that the Walsh Athletic Center/Rafferty Stadium parking lot is closed to the general public during men's and women's lacrosse home games. Tailgating is limited to the Loyola gravel lot (Fairfield) and the Dolan East lot on Mooney Road (Saint Joseph's). Tailgating activities are prohibited in all other academic and residential parking lots and in the Kelley Center parking garage.
 
Handicapped parking is available in all lots for those with proper permits on a first come, first served basis. Those in need of additional assistance are encouraged to contact Fairfield Athletics at 203-254-4000 ext. 2208 to ensure that proper accommodations are met.
 
The follow items are not permitted inside Rafferty Stadium:
• Alcohol of any kind
• Outside food and drink
• Glass bottles, cans, frozen drinks, coolers, thermoses or ice chests
• Seat cushions measuring larger than 18" and contain zippers, pockets or concealable areas
• Any animal with the exception of a service animal (must provide certification upon request)
• Weapons (including knives), any item that may be used as a projectile or one that is deemed dangerous by Stadium management
• Any other item deemed inappropriate by Stadium management
 
On the Air
Saturday's game will be broadcast by the Stags Sports Network on Facebook Live with J.J. Duke and Allison Gaskins back for another season calling the action. Fans can like and follow Fairfield University Athletics on Facebook to get a notification every time the Stags Sports Network goes live.

Facebook Live will be the home to seven of Fairfield's nine regular season games at Rafferty Stadium this spring. Lax Sports Network - now a free platform for all fans - will be alongside to broadcast the March 2 visit from Rutgers and the March 15 clash with Utah.

The Stags' first road trip of the season will be the shortest as Fairfield heads across town to meet Sacred Heart on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. Action returns to Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium on the following Saturday, March 2, for a 1 p.m. visit from #8/9 Rutgers.
