FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Volleyball will host the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Volleyball Championship this weekend on George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall. The tournament begins on Friday, Nov. 22 with the first-place Stags taking the court on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m.

Friday's action will see sixth-seeded Quinnipiac challenge third-seeded Rider at 5 p.m. followed by fourth-seeded Marist meeting fifth-seeded Niagara. The Stags will host the winner of the Marist/Niagara clash with second-seeded Canisius sparring with either Rider or Quinnipiac in Saturday's semifinals. The 2019 MAAC Championship Match is slated for Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m.

Fairfield enters the postseason as the MAAC Regular Season Champion – topping the league for the 18th time since 1996 – and currently owns a record of 22-5 overall and 17-1 in the MAAC. The Stags are in search of their 11th MAAC Championship overall and fourth in the last five campaigns.

All five matches of the 2019 MAAC Championship will be broadcast live by the Stags Sports Network on ESPN+ with J.J. Duke and 2018 MAAC Player of the Year Claire Archibald calling all of the action.
