FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sara Ostensen tallied three individual first place finishes this past week against Fordham and Loyola Maryland making her the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week.
 
In the Stags' meet against Fordham, Ostensen won the 200 SC Meter Butterfly with a final time of 2:22.82. She was also part of the 400 SC Meter Medley Relay and the 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay teams who both finished in third place.
 
Ostensen dominated against Loyola Maryland starting with a first-place finish in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a final time of 10:31.41. She also placed first in the 500 Yard Freestyle clocking in at 5:10.79 and finished second in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:57.00. Ostensen closed out her strong performance swimming the final leg of a first-place finish in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a final time of 3:45.25.
 
Ostensen and the Stags will return to action on Saturday, November 23 as they travel to Poughkeepsie to take on MAAC rival, the Marist Red Foxes.
