RICHMOND, Va. – For the second consecutive year, Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse has earned the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Team Academic Excellence Award. The honor, which was established in 2017, recognizes the program with the highest yearly GPA in each CAA-sponsored sport. The Stags posted a team GPA of 3.18 to capture the honor this year after winning the inaugural award with a 3.12 team GPA in 2016-17.

In total, 23 Fairfield Men's Lacrosse student-athletes qualified for the University's Dean's List with a GPA of 3.5 or above in at least one semester in 2017-18, including 14 who attained the honor in both semesters. Twenty-nine members of the Stags' 2018 men's lacrosse roster own a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
