FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University basketball teams will be part of this year's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) ESPN broadcast schedule as the conference announced its slate of games for 2015-16. The men's team will appear three times while the women's squad will garner two slots on the schedule.
Head Coach Joe Frager and his Stags will start the Fairfield appearances off when the team takes on Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J. on January 14. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN3 beginning at 5 pm. The women will collect another game on ESPN3 with the Stags heading to Monmouth University on January 30 for a 4 pm tip.
Head Coach Sydney Johnson will lead his squad against the Golden Griffs on February 18 which ESPN3 will air live beginning at 8 pm from Koessler Athletic Center. Fairfield will also play two 'wild card" games this season, playing at Marist on January 22 and hosting Canisius on January 29. The games will be distributed nationally through either ESPNU or ESPN3, a decision that will be made 21 days prior to the game date.
