FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Associate Athletic Director Zach Dayton has announced that Nick Cianfaro will join his staff as the Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant.  Cianfaro will be the primary media contact for six Division I sports in addition to duties related to all 20 of Fairfield's varsity athletic programs.

“We are excited to welcome Nick to Fairfield University as a member of our marketing and communications team,” said Dayton. His skill set and athletic communications background as an undergraduate student at Bryant University will be a key addition to our staff.” 

A Branchburg, N.J. native, Cianfaro is a May 2015 graduate of Bryant, where he majored in Communication with a concentration in Sport Studies and a minor in Business Administration. He spent three years in the Athletics Communications office assisting with office work as well as game day operations.

Cianfaro gained additional experience as an intern at the Northeast Conference and with the Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

While at Fairfield, Cianfaro will be pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business.
