The Fairfield University women's soccer team saw its three match win streak end Friday evening with a 3-1 loss at Central Connecticut State University. The Stags fall to 3-4-0 on the year while the Blue Devils improve to 2-5-0.

CCSU struck early when Jewel Robinson found the back of the net only 3:20 into the game. The score remained 1-0 until Ashley Small (Melville, N.Y.) took a pass from Carly Beyar (South Hempstead, N.Y.) in the 31st minute. The Blue Devils answered just over five minutes later on a Tori Sousa goal to take a 2-1 edge that would be the halftime margin. Sophia DeVita (Westfield, N.J.) made four saves in net for the Stags as she made her second collegiate start. Nikola Deiter made five stops in earning the win for CCSU.
