The Stags athletic teams joined in the fun during the Curiale School's (Bridgeport) Spring Into Action field day. The teams helped run the activity stations that included jump rope, ring toss, hula hoop, soccer, sack races, three-legged races, hopscotch, egg and spoon races, water balloon toss, and basketball.
The event included students from kindergarten through fourth grade. From Fairfield University, members of the men's and women's basketball teams as well as the cheerleading squad were part of the day. Students from Fairfield University's United Way chapter demonstrated and ran the activities.
