BALTIMORE, Md. – The Fairfield University volleyball team down Loyola University Maryland 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-20) this afternoon as the Stags improved to 11-2 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
 
Freshman Caitlin Stapleton had nine kills while classmate Lindsay Weaver chipped in with eight kills on .462 hitting.
 
Defensively, senior Kendal Dirkin had four total blocks while senior Lauren Balmert had a match-high 11 digs. Dirking also had four digs and five kills while Balmert notched three aces. Junior Kara Reis added 10 digs.
 
Fairfield (14-9) returns to action tomorrow, October 30, when it travels to Rider University at 2pm.
