GREELEY, Colo. – The Fairfield University volleyball team wrapped up the Hampton Inn & Suites Colorado Classic with a 3-0 (18-25, 18-25, 18-25) loss to UMKC this afternoon.

Freshman Hayley Moyer (Riverside, Calif.) tallied a team-high eight kills while Brianna Dixion (Long Beach, Calif.) and Haililani Pokipala (Honolulu, Hawaii) each contributed five. Senior Lauren Hughes (Costa Mesa, Calif.) and junior Alex Lopez (Fort Collins, Colo.) had four kills apiece.

Defensively, sophomore Kara Reis (Ramona, Calif.) had 10 digs. Pokipala added eight digs while Lopez collected seven.

UMKC (2-5) out-blocked the Stags (1-6) 15-3 and held them to a .017 attack percentage.

Fairfield returns action September 10-11 at the Spring Hill Suites @ Arundel Mills Terrapin Invite held at the University of Maryland.
