Carisio Leads Diving At Cardinal Invitational

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Fairfield University men's and women's diving team wrapped up competition at the Cardinal Invitational this morning on the campus of Wesleyan University. Senior Brett Carisio (Cheshire, Conn.) was the runner-up in the men's one-meter event to highlight the Stags day.

Carisio recorded a score of 210.50 to place second overall. Yesterday, Carisio placed fourth on the 3-meter. Freshman Brien Bates (Wellesley, Mass.) finished fifth with a mark of 154.60 while sophomore Ryan Krebs (East Williston, N.Y.) also turned in a top-eight performance.

In the women's 3-meter event, freshman Abigail Sanders (Falls Church, Va.) placed fifth with a personal best of 165.70. Yesterday, Sanders finished fourth in the 1-meter event.

Fairfield has concluded competition for the semester.
