Diving Opens Competition At Cardinal Invitational

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Fairfield University diving team had a solid day of competition at the Cardinal Invitational held at Wesleyan University.

Freshman Abigail Sanders (Falls Church, Va.) placed fourth on the women's 1-meter board with a mark of 171.20.

In the men's 3-meter event, senior Brett Carisio (Cheshire, Conn.) took fourth with a score of 190.85. Freshman Brien Bates (Wellesley, Mass.) was sixth with a personal best of 172.95 while sophomore Ryan Krebs (East Williston, N.Y.) was seventh with a score of 162.30.

The Stags continue action at the Cardinal Invitational tomorrow, December 5.
