FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University men's basketball team will play two exhibition games in the beginning of November, giving Stags fans an opportunity to see the team before its regular-season opener on November 13.

Fairfield will host the University of Bridgeport on November 1 beginning at 7:30 pm. The game will be played at the Arena at Harbor Yard. The two teams will meet for the fifth time for an exhibition game, the first coming prior to the 2006-07 season. 

The Stags will play their final exhibition on November 8 when Stonehill College comes to the Arena at Harbor Yard. The game is slated for a 7:30 pm tip-off. Fairfield also played the Skyhawks in an exhibition game a year ago with the Stags walking away with a 71-60 decision. 

Tickets for the game are $12 for each exhibition game.

Also, tickets are now available for the Connecticut 6 Classic, the Stags first regular-season game of the 2009-10 campaign. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Fairfield University athletics ticket office at (203) 254-4136. Tickets for the Connecticut 6 Classic can also be purchased on line through ww.ticketmaster.com or at the Mohegan Sun Arena box office.

Tickets for the Connecticut 6 Classic are $15 for adults and $5 for students from participating schools and for children between the ages of 2 and 12.
