Mens Lacrosse Alum Bill Reilly To Give Keynote Address At Annual Banquet
Oct 15, 2007
Fairfield University head men’s lacrosse coach Ted Spencer
announced today that William B. Reilly, Class of 1992, will give
the keynote address at the Stags annual team banquet. The
event will be held October 19 at the Trumbull Marriott
“We are honored to have Bill Reilly speaking at our annual
team gathering,” said Spencer. “It is important
to our current players to remember the tradition of greatness that
they are responsible for during their stay at Fairfield. To
be able to hear from a player who helped build our program is
inspirational to our current student-athletes.”
Reilly graduated from Fairfield in 1992 with a degree in political
science and a minor in economics. He scored at least one goal
in every game in which he appeared in during his playing days as a
Stag. Reilly served as a team captain two years and earned
team MVP accolades following two seasons.
Reilly is currently the Director of US Cash Trading at
Citigroup. He and his wife, Keri, reside in Manhasset, N.Y.
with their four children, Katie, Patrick, Kellin and Brynn.
The men’s lacrosse banquet is held in October each year to
honor and recognize the previous spring’s achievements.
The Stags went 6-6 in 2007, including opening 5-0 and achieving a
program-best national ranking of 12th. The program will
announce its team awards for 2007, recognize those players honored
with conference and national awards and announce the 2008 team
captains.
