Jun 11, 2009

Once again several Stags will have busy summers on the baseball diamond as they will play in various collegiate leagues.

Jason Rago and Scott Gussaroff are suiting up for the North Fork Ospreys of the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball. The Hamptons league comprises the Kaiser Division of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL). The Ospreys are currently 2-2 on the season.

Ryan Furbeck is also playing ball in the ACBL as a member of the Northern New Jersey Eagles. The Eagles, in their inaugural season, are 1-1 so far in the Wolff Division.

Rob Gariano is embarking on a 10-day stint with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

After spending some time with Harwich, Tucker Nathans headed to Maine and is playing for the Sanford Mainers of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

Chris Horning is playing for the Vienna Senators of the Clark Griffith Collegiate League, one of the premier wood bat leagues. The Senators are currently 3-1 this season.
